The bride and groom wanted a small, personal wedding that included their loved ones in meaningful ways. They’d been students of mine at one time, and grew to be friends of the family. The bride asked me to make jewelry for her and her bridemaids, so we exchanged ideas. The necklace I made for the happy bride combined white ribbon and hundreds of white pearls, all attached by hand to a length of handmade silver links. I thought it was romantic and fun.
Here’s a photo of the bride on her big day, wearing the necklace.
